The Olivet College of Art & Design (OCAD) held a committee panel review for graduating OCAD Masters students.  OCAD MA students presented a variety of work after studying with mentors, faculty, and fellow classmates in completing their thesis design projects.

Each semester, students present their projects for final approval in order to graduate.  Student projects should exemplify design with industry standards along with contribution to the Christian Missions field.

This semester, four OCAD students presented from a variety of topics.  The titles of the presentations were Pictogram Bible Study, Life in Music, Muslim Women in Malaysia, and Hikikomiri: Connecting with Japan’s Disconnected People.

The panel consisted of faculty and professionals including guest professor Todd Goehner from John Brown University in Siloam Springs, AR.  Students who presented received valuable feedback from the panel that help propel their project towards practical use in the mission field.

The final thesis review is held at the conclusion of the OCAD MA program which takes approximately three years to complete.  Throughout the course of the program, students will work from conceptualization, production, to presentation at the final thesis review.
